Applying Design Thinking to Voice as a Scholar-Practitioner-Leader
DOC705R Day 5: Develop a model or prototype that represents an interactive experience or process designed to address the identified problem within your field of study.
Prepare a 15- to 20-minute presentation that introduces your final model or prototype to the class. Be sure to address the following in your presentation:
- A title slide that includes the names of your group
- A slide identifying your organization and the need for your organization. Substantiate with literature.
- A slide with your Mission Statement
- A slide with you Vision Statement
- A slide that states the problem and substantiate with literature
- A slide that states the purpose of the problem.
- A slide(s) that states the possible solution
- A slide(s) that states if the solution has been implemented prior and substantiate with literature.
- A slide(s) that states the outcome of prior implementation and substantiate with literature.
- A slide(s) that states any recommendations for future implementations, as stated in the literature and substantiate.
- A slide(s) that states the prototype, how it addresses the problem, aligns with the organization’s vision and mission statements, and how the outcome might solve the problem
- A slide identifying how the prototype will be assessed/evaluated
- A slide(s) for reflection, that includes:
- What process did you use to analyze and evaluate the ideas you created through brainstorming and reframing?
- What factors contributed to the selection of your final model or prototype?
- What are the connections of this project to your overall residency objectives?
- Discuss your group development based on Tuckman’s Model.
- A reference slide(s), formatted to APA standards
All team members must actively participate in developing and presenting the material.
The final presentation should be viewed as an opportunity to present yourselves professionally: in dress, conduct, and demeanor.
Allow yourselves enough time to practice the presentation to address any inconsistencies in organization, switching presenters, etc.
Refer to the grading rubric for additional expectations.
